Nothing stops true entrepreneurs, you don't need legal status for that, but you do need to follow certain pesky laws, like pay taxes, insurance etc. The "undocumented" who were willing to do that have already done so. The rest will always look for the easiest way to make money without having to be accountable to the law. For many, that will be working in the fields, not reporting income and going on welfare. Laws may change but people do not.
Tell me this excon, why would a person who travels thousands of miles to do back breaking work in the sun for slave wages but won't travel a few hundred more to mop a floor indoors for better money suddenly break out and decide he wants to start a business? Why don't you quit with the fantasy and admit that these types of people do not have what it takes to run a business, let alone the guts to start one?

work harder, stay smart, follow laws and yes, maybe some will be entrepreneurs. It's a free county and with legal status confirmed that's one less hurdle to cross. The immigrants here for drug and illegal enterprise I hope they are sifted through. But, you'll never sort them all out. I'm glad for the blanket resolution. There simply is no better way.
Illegal aliens wont be anything than they have always been. Dont make up wild dreams of intelligent people. Most are uneducated and have very few skills and nothing will change. They will still be doing the same jobs they are doing now.
Most educated legal immigrants are already working in good jobs. Uneducated illegals will be doing the same jobs they are doing now and will always do until they get an education. Drug dealing is not a profession.
They are illegal aliens not undocumented immigrants. No matter how sweet the icing is a mud cake still tastes like mud.
We can only hope that they will better themselves and their families. Start contributing to society is a good start
Well.being since they've DEMANDED and gotten in-state tuition in some states and are now DEMANDING federal grants to pay for their schooling..it would appear that there are those who will become "lazy" and not want to do the jobs "Americans" won't do either. They just busted 5 illegal businesses run by illegals here. Roofing contractors etc. Guess they did the old take the money and run routien enough times to get the states attention and we'll have to wait and see what actually happens to them. I think they are still trying to find an illegal cheese factory that was selling cheese in Mexican groceries. They probably would have skated by if it weren't for an e-coli outbreak. So they're already "business owners"...but they don't abide by those laws either.
