Why does the citizenship process take so long for law abiding, working, good people that have families here??

Unfortunately it is because there are so many folks trying to do it the right way, and there are so few people processing it.
The massive governmental bureaucracy that is involved in every step of the immigration process.
it's just the way of the government. nice and easy. it will happen, but it just takes time. be patient. you'll get there.
because our immigration office are not able
to handle a massive immigrations
like are not able to give to 300 million Americans a passport
or like we are not able to give to 300 million Americans
the flu vaccine

any services in our country collapse
when everyone in the same time ask something
and there is nothing you can't do
Too many people trying to become citizens at the same time
That is a good question for why we need reform. But it doesn't mean I pushed myself in here illegally and why doesn't it work.
GOOD people isn't enough. Working isn't enough. Families mean SQUAT..
Citizenship isn't a right.it's a privaledge. Hard working isn't always enough..education is. Family means nothing. Honestly. Damn..look at ti..just coz you are "good" doesn't mean Uncle Vinnie is.
I do totally agree with the fact that you don't invest time and money and effort for 10 years and then say NO. No...you don't take people.set them up to a standard and have them pass that and then say..no. No...that's not right. You don't promote "family reunification when your kid is 2 and it doesn't come up for review till he's 32.

I DEFINATELY see the reason for REFORM.
Honestly..how many years do we really have to build a family...be shortly stable...take care of our aging parents and still be OK before we die?

No.I can compromise. Otherwise.then there must be other laws..no marraige, no sex..whatever..ain't gonna happen. Wouldn't want it to happen.
I probably could say 1/2 deserve to be here because of our governments impotency. What I say is.take it or forget it. NOTHING more. Would they do it? All or nothing or ....nothing at all.
