Shouldn't we at least provide Amnesty to young Adults who were brought here as Children?
Answer:
I couldn't agree more. I teach English to non-native English speakers and we see this problem all the time. The students graduate from high school and have difficulty going on to higher education because they are illegal. Most often, life here is the only life they know, yet they are punished for their parents decisions. It is so hard to watch this happen!
Nope
B'CUZ they are illegal. Illegal is illeal.end of story! What makes me mad is that their parents probably raised these children on welfare and without paying taxes, making it harder for normal Americans, who need a little assistance now and then, to get the help because the bar is lowered so far to meet the needs of illegal mexicans who have 15 children and NO jobs.
what if they have criminal record and are part of gangs and take advantage of government services and show disloyalty to america and have so many anchor babies etc. etc.??
My answer is simply a big NO!
By the looks of it, you're such a sweetheart ("Daniel") huh?? Why dont YOU adopt illegals, pay for their healthcare, pay for their education costs, pay for their babies and everything else!! illegals arent free you know!
These children wouldn't have been born here if their parents had stayed in Mexico. I'm sick to death seeing pregnant women dragging 3 or 4 anchor kids behind them. Who do you think is paying for these kids to be born and cared for? You need to visit an Emergency room, schools and any organization that hands out freebies to illegals who don't even need a Social Security number while Americans who were born here do.
i know this will be hard to understand because you seem to be willing to allow people to break the law. there are in place a set of laws through which people may enter the U.S. every country has such laws. why is it o k for people to break these laws in the U.S. ? every other country, including Mexico will deport yiu if you break their laws. why is that bad in America? my people came to America in 1796 and did it the right way. if a person comes here the right way i am all for that. but if you sneak across the border then you are breaking the law. i think we have our fill of law breakers in the U.S.A. do it right and you are welcome. do it wrong and you are a criminal. go home and do it right. no one said life was easy or fair.
Hey, if their parents stole something and gave it to the kids, I would still make the family give the stolen goods back.
My answer is no. Yes, it is the parents who are to blame. And there are problems of proof - soon everyone will have a sob story and be trying to use this. Plus, if we demonstrate toughness and ENFORCE THE LAW then people will stop trying to sneak in and game the system. We have HAD amnesties before, and all it did was INCREASE the flow of illegals, because people saw us as "soft" and figured if they gave amnesty once they'd do it again.
MY sympathies lie with the people here legally, who deeply resent their country being invaded, their taxes being used to fund schools, hospitals, etc. that are foundering because of the tide of illegals, and who are seeing their economic status, public health and education standards, and crime statistics all go in the wrong direction because of all this.
Let's worry about our own before we indulge in more misguided tears for these media-hyped stories.
Harsh words, but I'm absolutely sick of it. And so are millions more.
ENOUGH.
Nope!
