I received my passport in the mail a few days ago, that I expedited mind you, and they put the wrong birthday. I am flying from California to Cancun, Mex. in three weeks. I can have it changed and have the passport sent back within two weeks *i think* however, I am scared it won't come back in time for my trip. Is it really important that I get it changed? Like will anyone check to see if it's the correct birthday?
*Note-my birthday is June 13, they made my birthday Sept 13. I'm almost 24 so it's not like it made me underage or anything.

I would call the issuing agency (it says on the passport) or the post office and ask. I'm pretty sure it's a bad thing if the date is wrong.
