Thanks for posting. That was pitiful. The belief that our Southwest is actually Mexican land ignores two historical facts:
1. We won those lands fair and square in the fight against Mexico in the 1840s.
2. Even after we won the war, we were nice guys and PAID THE MEXICANS FOR THE LAND. Unbelievable, but true.
The land is part of the United States of America and will remain so. We'll take over Mexico way before they have a shot at taking over us.
To be honest, here is what I think 50 years from now will look like:
-0- There will one "national union" -- The North American Union
-0- There will be one currency
-0- Quality of life will be severely depressed in what we now call the United States and Canada; quality of life will increase among the wealthy in Mexico
-0- South American countries will pour more of their poor peoples toward the NAU
-0- China will be the world power and, much like WalMart dictates through its microcosm of economics and free market power, China will make war with the economy
-0- The EU and the NAU will essentially become service industry nations
I believe we can reject amnesty for the illegal immigrants, but I also believe that every single member of our government is steering us toward this agenda -- and its leaders are that Idiot King "president"; KKKennedy; McCain; Reid and others. They should all be tried as traitors to America.
What these reconquistas don't understand is that it is not the real estate that will do anything for them, but the nature of our governance and culture. If we had given Texas back to Mexico City after we won the war, these same people would now be climbing over a fence on the Oklahoma border. And I don't think they will ever understand that. Have a nice day!
