Do you not agree that USA citizens are harder workers than illegals?
Answer:
I AGREE ,WE THE AMERICANS ARE PROUD OF OUR COUNTRY,WE WORK HARD,THE ILLEGALS DO NOT, THE ILLEGALS ARE HERE TO REAP THE BENEFITS OF OUR HARD WORK FOR NOTHING,THE ILLEGALS COULD CARE LESS ABOUT OUR COUNTRY
I don't think an all or nothing statement can be made about any country. All nations have some of both.
But, I do know that there are many, many, many people here in the U.S. that work their tushies off. Most Americans aren't afraid to grab opportunities, and push themselves to achieve great things.
We all come from families that immigrated here legally and worked to make this country what it is today. Because of legal Americans, the illegals have a reason to come here and take advantage of what our families created. So for people to say illegals work harder than all Americans is absurd. If it wasn't for us, they wouldn't be able to get jobs and make a better living in the first place.
No, I do not agree. I wouldn't work as hard as they do for the pay they receive, and that's the honest truth about it. I've got several acquaintances who run profitable landscaping services and construction companies and they ALL tell me their immigrant workers (all legal in their cases) are worth any 3 natural born citizens. Them's the facts. You have to almost force them to take a half hour lunch break.
In my experience as an employer, I have found many "citizens" do not want to work if the job is hot, tedious, or physically demanding. They also will not stay with a company once they are trained. The work ethic is much worse in the last 20 years than when I started working. There are a lot of factors for that. Better opportunities, welfare, and unemployment benefits. The US built the country to the level it is on the shoulders of its immigrants. Do you think that this is the first time that we have had waves of immigrants? As far as the illegal ones are concerned, there are few slots for the Mexican and other Hispanics to come in legally. We are giving preference to Cubans, Iraqi, and Afghanistan refugees.
Criminal illegal aliens are hard workers , there also here illegally taking advantage of every program that us hard working citizens are paying. & can get . They have no right 2 be in this country & i hope they get deported . Come here legally if you can then do your share 2 keep this country great not take take take. You have screwed up Mexico so don't try doing it here.Just my thought.
WHAT?? YEAH, YOU SURE ARE RICH, BUT IT´S NOT YOUR MONEY!!!. OTHERWISE, WHY DO YOU THINK YOUR ARMY IS STILL IN THE MIDDLE EAST...IS NOT SADDAM ANYMORE, AND THERE WERE NO BOMBS. SO? THROUGH HISTORY U.S.A HAS BEHAVED LIKE A PREDATOR WITH THE ECONOMY OF THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES, SO YOU´VE OWED TO FOREIGNS YOUR POLITICAL POWER AND GOOD ECONOMY LONG BEFORE IMMIGRANTS ARRIVED, AND YOU STILL DO.
i dont agree.
We have to work hard, partially to pay for the illegal aliens! I get so pissed when the pro-illegals say Americans are lazy. NO WAY.
i don't think your are right. . ."she has stood the test of time". . .what are you talking about?? The US is relatively a new country compared to other countries in existence. And the wealth that you speak of?? the US is indebtedness is huge. 48 Trillion! sooner or later those huge chunks of money we owe to china and other power houses will catch up to us. And i dare say, SOME illegals are harder workers than SOME Americans. Though you cant really put a fixed number on it. Another thing, why is immigration a problem?? The way i see it, if the USA was such a great and powerful country it wouldn't even have this an as issue.
I fully agree with you. Name one thing that the illegals have done to do anything to make this country what has become over the years. We do the jobs that Americans wont that's a crock of bull and they know it. The dust bowl ring a bell? This country is one if not the wealthiest it is spread across the board not just one set of people stay rich anyone with the know how can do it.
Illegal immigrants build this beautiful country. If you are not sure of that walk up to a construction site and yell "la migra" you'll see how many people are left.
It takes all different kinds of "hard work" to make a country successful. Brain power as well as physical power. America has always had a very strong work ethic and an understanding that any job is a necessary job.
I can say from my experience and it basicly comes at the same time as the last amnesty and trickle down economics..things changed for alot of people. You used to be able to survive on minimum wage and a family could survive with one wage earner. Work hard and your life got better. Then someone changed the rule book and none of that worked any longer. The harder you worked and the more pay you made was a quicker exit out the door. We went from people working their whole lives at one job to a resume 10 pages long. Down-sizing, lay-offs, company mergers, company closings, less and less and less benefits, less full time positions and more and more demands. They stopped the cost of living wages, many places cut vacation time, sick days and all sorts of things that used to be the norm. All the things that kept people working harder because your life was improving. It's not that way anymore for alot of people. People are existing. Some better than others.
Now to be honest I'm not one who has adjusted well to these changes. I hate going to work and doing the best job I can and still wondering if todays the day I'll no longer have a job. Maybe it's just me but I like job security. I like to know if I'm working 40 hrs. I don't like it if it's 3 today, 8 tomorrow, followed by 4 on a totally different shift. with 3 days off but stay home coz we might need to call you in. I like jobs where I know what my hours are and can plan my life in what's left. So many "own" you 24/7 for minimul pay and sorry...I work to live.not live to work.
I do beleive in some ways our work ethic has gone down to a degree. But I don't beleive it's "laziness".I beleive it's frustration. I mean you used to loose your job for a REASON. Now they can just fire you for no reason. Not to mention closing shop or having your job outsourced. We spend such a great deal of our time working that if they can't give you job security, decent pay or even treated well and we're going backwards, not forwards ..it's more less why kill myself for nothing. On a whole I beleive it's hard for Americans to toil for existance while they dangle the "dream" in your face. So in that sense I guess we're spoiled. We used to get paid what we're worth. Now the name of the game is "cheap", "cheap", "cheap".
I remember growing up something as simple as garbage collecting..there was one guy driving and 2 on the back picking up garbage for their side. Now here it's one guy doing it all by himself. He doesn't get paid anymore than what they were paid decades ago but he's doing the job of 3 and expected to get it done in the same amount of time. And the bill used to be almost nothing and now it's over 100 bucks. Service was 2 x's a week and now we're lucky if they come once a week. So in that sense no...we're working harder for less money and spending alot more for less.
I don't beleive they work any harder than anyone else does and in some ways worse because the quality isn't as good. Fast doesn't mean "better". At the chicken farm I worked at they had a crew of illegals who emptied and filled the houses with the chickens. There was another crew of regular Americans. Yes.the illegals got the job done faster..but they also damaged more equipment, killed and injured more birds and in the long run cost more with all the damage and loss than the American crew who worked slower but did no damage or killing or injuring the birds.
Unlawful Entry is a CRIME. Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators! No amnesty, no "stealth-amnesty." No "change of status," marriage fraud, "exceptional leave to remain," no "Temporary Protected Status." If you break the law, depart or be deported. Illegal aliens kill more US citizens each year than the war in Iraq has killed in four years. Apologists for illegal immigration like to paint it as a victimless crime. But in fact, illegal immigration causes substantial harm to American citizens and legal immigrants, particularly those in the most vulnerable sectors of our population--the poor, minorities, and children. Additionally, job competition by waves of illegal immigrants willing to work at substandard wages and working conditions depresses the wages of American workers, hitting hardest at minority workers and those without high school degrees. Illegal immigration also contributes to the dramatic population growth overwhelming communities across America--crowding school classrooms, consuming already limited affordable housing, and straining precious natural resources like water, energy, and forestland. Taxpayers are being forced to pay for the free health care, education, and other welfare programs being given to illegal aliens; Those tax dollars could be given back to U.S. taxpayers or used to keep our borders secure; They may be here illegally, but they sure know how to "work the system" to collect "free" medical care, "free" education, "free" food, Section 8 housing vouchers and other housing assistance, and hundreds of other social services. It costs citizens additional hundreds of billions of tax dollars at every level: local, state, and federal. It gobbles up billions of our charitable contributions. And much of that money ends up siphoned out of our economy and into offshore accounts. Illegal aliens, over half of whom work "under the table" with neither job nor income reported (nor taxed), are not counted as employed or unemployed. But some of those day-labor and off-the-books "job-lets" would be "real" jobs - available to American citizen job-seekers - if employment regulations were enforced. Illegal aliens can get away with tax evasion, et al., which citizens cannot. In short, we have too many workforce entrants and too few jobs created. The ratio works out to roughly 7-10 workforce entrants per job created. If all illegal aliens depart or are deported, all legal immigration halted, and all temporary employment visas abolished, we still have a problem with more US-born workforce entrants than new jobs created. Illegal immigration damages our country and our citizens every day at every level. And not even the attacks of 2/26 and 9/11 have awakened many Americans to the vast dangers illegal immigration poses to our selves, our families, our communities, our society, our values, our principles, our civilization. Zero Tolerance for Immigration-Law Violators! We must remember the lessons of 2/26, 9/11, and the costs we bear every single day. God Bless the U S A !
i agree Americans are hard workers and have made this mighty country what it is because of the hard work but the difference between the American worker and the Mexican worker is smarts the American worker is not going to work their rears off for the amount of money a mexican will why do you think that as long as the teamsters have anything to do with trucking you will not see mexican trucks running the highways of america
