Harry Reid called illegal alians 'Undocumented Americans'. Are we lost as a nation?

Yes, Reid surrendered to the Illegal Aliens.
But Reid, like a typical Democrat, surrenders to everyone.
He got caught in some bad corruption, but it was okay. Since he is a Democrat, he is Above The Law.

I am sure he will change his statement today. If he really feels that way this country needs to increase the letter and phone campaign against any legislation that does not protect our borders first and does not give anything to people that entered our country by breaking the law. With him being the leader of the Senate it is no longer Nevada's problem, it is all of our problem.

Here we go again. Illegal Aliens, Illegal Immigrants, Undocumented Americans, EWI (entered without inspection) they all mean the same thing. Who cares what people call them - they all mean the same thing. Is that the important part of your opinion - that they are to be called illegal aliens instead of Undocumented Americans? Is that what your fighting for? If not, stop worrying about it. That is like having a fit because someone says tomato differently than you do.
Illegal Immigrants/Aliens - they crossed the border without papers
EWI - They entered (crossed the border) with out inspection (without papers)
Undocumented Americans - They are here in USA as Americans (as hispanics coming from Mexico on down) because they come from either Central, or South America. Undocumented because they entered without inspection (see above) so that means - they are here without papers.

I head a prediction yesterday morning that someone would actually call the illegal aliens "undocumented Americans." I didn't think it would be that quick. More proof that Reid is an a**!
First of all, the term "undocumented" is insulting! I makes it sound like they haven't done anything wrong and that they only misplace a piece of paper. Most importantly, THEY AREN'T AMERICANS!
It's bad enough that Bush is giving away our country to Mexico, promising them amnesty. Now Reid is being a traitor to our country!
When does he come up for re-election? Nevada voters, wake up and through the bum out!

There are just plain illegals breaking our laws. Mr. Reid is just one of those cut and run liberal cowards who doesn't know his @ss from a hole in the ground! I think it's time to send these Congressmen a pink slip!
I would not say that we are lost as a nation; I would, however, say that Harry Reid is lost as a Citizen. We are certainly confused as citizens on the issue of illegal immigration, and much of this is due to a lack of viable information in the Main-Stream-Media (MSM) and polarization of opinions and attitudes.
The first best thing any of us can do is dismiss the fliers like Reid and begin to seek knowledge so we can understand the real issues at hand. This is not always easy, but then again neither is being free. Once we are educated, using real facts, we can make formulated and pragmatic decisions instead of emotional and selfish decisions.
Although, as I suggested earlier, it is best to dismiss Harry Reid, what he said is dangerous, ignorant, and frightening. He has said this because, as so many uninformed individuals, he sees illegal immigrants as the poor starving people of Mexico “just trying to make a better life for themselves” and dismisses the potential terrorist, rapist, murderer, thief, anti-American socialist, arsonist, child-abuser, drunk driver, racist, that also exists in that group of “Undocumented Americans”.
Be afraid. Be very afraid. And then get informed and get involved – peacefully!
I think we have been lost for a while or atleast mislead not saying anything bad against our current it has been going this way for a while and no one wants to stand up and take back our government we are getting lazy, Does not the first three words in our constitution say WE THE PEOPLE what happened to that

I'm glad because we're only lost as a nation if we continue down the apathetic road that has characterized the mood of our country for about 45 years now. Statements like this are sure to wake some people up.
I can tell you that if a Senator or Rep in my home state of Texas said something like that, he could kiss his @$$ goodbye. We love our John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutchison!
