What if i want to change my married last name to my real birth last name because i got divorced?

Answer:
It has to be included in your divorce papers that your maiden name is restored
You can have it changed. I think they might charge? Check up with your local Vital Statistics office.
In the U.S. you just get your name changed. Go to a Court and contact all the people that need to be contacted and get it changed.
This is fairly easy to do. Consult your home state government website for the procedure info.
You can change it no prob. It will take a bit of time and $ for paper work
If you live in the UK it is simple. Just contact whoever needs to know that you are reverting back to your maiden name. Don't forget to include the tax and social security departments.
Anyone can have thier name changed to anything. You just need to apply and appear before a judge. here are a couple of links to get started researching.
