What dirty work? Pick fruit? That isn't dirty work...that is called a first job for some. It is just that most kids today have everything handed to them on a silver plater. And I am only 30, so it isn't THAT long ago that kids did this stuff. I remember that I have done the job of dishwasher MANY times through out my working career. Nothing wrong with it and it puts food on the table.

Yes we would. All we need to do is kick all the able bodied people off of the welfare system. Then they would pick the vegetables, clean the toilets, and dig the ditches. If they didn't they would starve, and have no place to stay. The welfare system creates a class of people that have no desire to earn a living to care for themselves.
They are a drain to the economy of the United States. They occupy 25% of the jail populations.
They over crowd the hospital emergency rooms and you wonder why your health insurance is going up and coverage is less.
They over crowd the school system causing the American kids to suffer with larger classes sizes. Of course the teachers unions love them for the job security.
And as for the dirty work I say let the BUMS do it - instead of shaking a Burger King cup in your face begging for money throw them in work camps. And force them to earn their keep.

Number 1 jobs Illegal immigrants do is construction. A lot of Americans actually want these jobs. It's hard to find farm labor which is number 2. Number 3 is janitorial. My belief is that we might need to increase legal immigrants for farm work, but rewarding illegal activities sets a bad precedence. It weakens what makes America great. OUr legal system.

I live in a small town in arizona. Ive lived here more than 18 years, I remember growing up there were hardly any mexicans, the ones that were here. were born here ( in arizona) and spoke english. and worked for their money.
