A man with single name now in US wants to add surname in name. how I can do from India?

man is my son, is studying, he has single name in passport and certificate. can u tell in detail legal way to add surname suffixed in his name permanently.

Answer:
You need to fill out some legal change of name forms and go to court. A judge must agree with the change. Not as hard sa it seems.Go to one of the legal form shops and they may be able to help you find the right forms.
Why doesn't he have your first name as his last name? Thats what most Indians do.
