Yup, i think that we would also have to spend quite a big of money in reconstructiing and settling in and everything.more jobs would have to be opened.gov. spending would go through the roof and construction companies would become rich as well as their shareholders lol...i dont know it would be crazy..i wonder how many states we would end up having.

If they became part of the U.S. why would the flag need to change? It's a UNITED STATES FLAG, they would be part of the united states.
Military wouldn't get any stronger, they add more people to the country, not more fire power.

no, more citizens and more land wont make a more powerful military. Canada's natural resources are valuable but our military would only be responsible for protecting more people. Mexico would be a huge drain on the U.S.'s spending because of the poverty and the lack of infastructure there. Russia has by no means the strongest military while a tiny country like Israel has one of the best. Population and Geographics have little to do with the issue.

The US has become a nation of war-mongers, interfering capriciously in sovereign nations. It has become a nation where lying about a b*** j** is an impeachable offense but war crimes are approved by popular vote. Religious and racial intolerance are the current hallmarks of the former "land of liberty". American Idol occupies a larger part of the American consciousness than the dismantling of your constitution.
