Studies can say anything they like. It all depends on the motive behind them. The facts are that illegals are costing us a ton of money and are a serious drain on our stretched thin social services. Can we stop illegal immigration if we cut funding to welfare, just as the democrats want to do to cut the war?

Unfortunately, I work with clients who can't compete with illegals for jobs, as they are either physically or mentally challenged in one way or another. So these Americans are forced to accept government support even though they would rather work. So that is another way that your tax dollars are being used unnecessarily.... if they could instead have those jobs.
The latest numbers I heard on the radio is that two-thirds of all construction jobs in our country are now held by Mexicans.
If you have jobs that only require the simplest of skills, such as pushing a broom, or mop, or carrying stuff around construction sites, I guarantee that I can find people who badly want those jobs.
I was not aware, but am not surprised. It's a shame, because some people will believe the lies. Thanks.
Read the article and read the comment by Construction Guy—that is an example enough at how illegal immigrant workers are affecting the US workforce!! I really need not say more.
It seems, that the protests of American citizens that have to live with it are being ignored on all sides and in both political parties! The vote is this week in Congress if you do not call and tell them about it today!
