Now that the issue of AMNESTY is practically dead, what is the next cure all for the illegal population?

Answer:
The Amnesty had better be totally dead! The rich Texan & Californian want them here so that they can have cheap labor. We want them gone so that these same jerks will have to pay a living wage to Americans who would do those jobs.
The answer is to make a concerted effort to round them up & send them home; post haste! Patrol those borders as though we mean it! Cutting back on border Patrol & shore Patrol; as has been done, is surely not an answer. The way things stand, we don't know who is crossing the border; it could be the group planning the next 9/11!
Amnesty is not practically dead. It just changed its name.
"Comprehensive immigration reform."

But that just means amnesty, so the whole issue is NOT dead.
Going home and entering the US legally.
Mass deportation. Costa mesa Ca. has the balls to challenge the illegal issue and are doing something about it. Over 70 arrests since Monday, and a free ride to Tijuana
If the illegals are not made to leave the U.S.,it is amnesty.
I'm going to have to agree with the others. Amnesty isn't dead. It's still alive and kicking our butts. There's no cure all, just cure some. I think what ICE is doing here in California by rounding up the aliens who also committ other crimes is a good step. As is requiring passports to enter the country. Every little bit helps.
Learning to speak English and becoming US citizens through the normal process!!!!!!
