i applied for a residence card about 7 and a half months ago , i was told it takes up to six months.But when i call them they seem so unhelpful cause they keep repeating the same things to me, telling me my application is still under consideration , if i want to know how much longer it will take i have to send a fax(which i have done several times , with no response).My wife is an eu citizen and i am south african , we are both now working and living in the uk.In the time waiting for my application we have even had a baby! What are my rights in this case?
Answer:
Just wait, it will come soon, but if you harrass them by clling and faxing, they can know because it is in your file and if you piss them off, it will take a lot longer... in the mean time you can live and work in the country so be patient.
