When will the whole illegal immigration issue be solve?

We will never be able to totally stop illegal immigration, but we will be able to greatly reduce it when or if the border fence is completed, the Real ID act goes into effect, we elect a president who will enforce the US immigration laws, we double the size of Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE), and we make being in this country illegally a felony punishable by at least 60 days in prison and a $5,000 fine. I think by 2012 we may be able to really reduce the problem, if the above steps are taken.
If the federal and state govts were to enforce our current laws, the problem would be greatly reduced. We need a policy of attrition through enforcement because we shouldn't legalize all illegal aliens as the Senate Shamnesty bill does, and we cannot round up and deport all the 12 to 20 million illegals in our country.
I to feel as though nice neighborhoods are slowly becoming overpopulated Ghetto's .Just come here to NY and you will see what I mean.People I know are selling their homes that they had for 30 years and moving just to get away from these "NEW" neighborhoods..Its Horrible and Its all types of people who are destroying once nice middle class surburban neighborhoods...Its a shame and I feel bad even saying it, but its the truth. When there are 40 people living in a 3 bedroom home, things start to pile up. the garbage, noone cuts the grass, they allow the house to start falling apart...Im sorry but its the TRUTH....Where is the pride in your home! and Why is it fair to the other people who have manicured homes to look at these EYESORES!..Music that no-one understands is being played at all hours, beer bottles left in the front of the homes..Its crazy and I see it all to often...Its not the America I grew up in..

A simple answer would be never...there will always be people not willing to go through the proper channels.
So you are just gonna have to deal with that like the rest of us. I live in the UK, pretty much the same situation here too. (Except they are not Mexican!)
