When the 55 mph speed limit was ignored by CA, the feds threatened to chop federal highway funding. CA answered back by offering not to take it (this was back before the illegals cost us all this money) and we hinted that we might stop collecting federal income tax from our citizen's paychecks. Within a year the 'double nickel' was gone. The 6th largest economy on earth had spoken. Now 'sanctuary cities' are flouting federal law AS ARE THE STATES they reside in by doing nothing about it. What is going ON? We fought the CIVIL WAR to establish a strong central govt. Are we going to have to fight it AGAIN over illegals? We cannot let them break us apart! It seems that not only are we having disloyalty in Washington but also in a couple of state capitols as well! If the next presidential candidate offers to put an end to this whole mess he's got MY vote Never in our lives has the time been so ripe for a third party to succeed. All he has to do is say he'll fix this mess and he's in w/ 80%!

Most people THINK they have to put up with it because legislators are looking for new voters at Your expense! Petitions and Activism work! Many of your own legislators tried to sneak it into other legislation and were caught red handed. (pun) They will be hearing from American Voters next year because of it too! Many smaller towns and some cities are fighting back and the ACLU a nd others are trying to bankrupt them for trying to uphold the laws.
