Does the Center for Immigration Studies have any data on how much corporations gain from illegals?

If so, can you give me a link to the right page? (I see only stuff about how much they cost govt and individuals.)

Here's some stuff on dropping wages, the flip side of which is employer profits, but it needs to be picked over. I'll see if I can find anything else.

Eh, not neatly bundled. There are a bunch of lawsuits out there lately where competitors or employees sue for unfair business practices and proove damages. The methodology they don't go into, but I presume they establish wage of legal workers then subtract wages for illegal workers and multiply by personnel. http://money.cnn.com/2007/01/23/magazine...

There is an issue though. Look at the backlog in schools to be built in LA. Money is not the same as existing capacity.

There was one out there with lots of footnotes which unfortunately looked a lot more informative than the paper itself (by Hansen).

I do see your point, and there was a study done, regarding impact on the economy.you have to subtract what they send out of the country, and what they spend that they take in services is a wealth transfer from taxpayers, so it's complex. But there were numbers. It was a RESPONSE to a study done in Texas. if I think of it I'll let you know...

This isn't it but it is something. Good night.

"Actually, the wealth is redistributed from native workers and the immigrant workers they compete with to employers and others who use their services, from Sonoma County grapegrowers to New York City hotel chains, in an amount so vast virtually no one seems to have an accurate handle on the figure, although Borjas estimates it may be as high as $140 billion annually, or 2 percent of the gross domestic product."

However, no footnotes, but you may be able to find other stuff by this professor, publish or perish, you know.

I love how you miss the word "illegal" before you say immigrant. How does this ring your ear 84 hospitals in So Cal closed because of illegals. Do you think the price of watermellon will change price because of illegal workers?
