What are the illegal immigration views with Obama, Clinton & Romney??

Answer:
You can find good summaries of voting records on various issues of your government officials by clicking you mouse on their state at http://www.ontheissues.org/default.htm... Most of the following information was taken from this website.

OBOMA

In general, Senator Obama supports the Kennedy/Bush bill:

I spoke to Obama's office on May 22 at 1:55 PM CST; I was quickly read a prepared statement which said that Obama supports most of the Kennedy bill and hopes to fix the few areas he does not like over the next few weeks.

Securing the borders first was not on the list of items he mentioned. He supports a full guest worker program and would grant amnesty under defined conditions which were not specified in the message

Per Senator Obama's website http://obama.senate.gov/issues/immigr...
"Instead of mass deportations, Senator Obama believes that Congress must pass comprehensive, compassionate reform that reaffirms the rule of law and brings the undocumented population out of hiding...Senator Obama played a key role in the crafting of the immigration reform bill that the Senate passed before the 109th Congress adjourned.

..The bill also would provide immigrants who are now contributing, responsible members of society an opportunity to remain in the country and earn citizenship. ...to remain in the U.S. under this proposal illegal immigrants would first have to pay a substantial fine and back taxes, learn English, satisfy a work requirement, and pass a criminal background check. " Etc, etc...

Some General Immigration Statistics
·The US admits about 660,000 legal immigrants per year (1998 figures).
·The Immigration Act of 1990 allows for 480,000 immigrants with family in the US; 140,000 immigrants in needed employment fields; and the rest under per-country limits and diversity limits.
·Foreign-born people accounted for 8% of the US population in the 1990 census.
·In 1996, about 5 million illegal aliens resided in the US—current estimates run as high as 20 million.
·55% of all illegal aliens come from Mexico. (Other Latin American countries account for another 20%).
·40% of all illegal aliens live in California. (TX, NY, FL, and IL account for the next 40%).
·The estimated illegal alien population is growing by about 275,000 each year.
·The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) runs the Border Patrol as well as interior enforcement.
·Anti-immigration advocates often seek Official English status (the US has no official language), which would enforce assimilation of non-English speaking immigrants.
·Similarly, anti-immigration advocates seek to terminate Bilingual Education, which is currently funded in school systems with large non-English-speaking populations.
·The violent street gang Mara Salvatrucha 13 (M-13) arrived in the United States from El Salvador by way of Mexico. The gang is nation-wide, is considered extremely dangerous, a currently is believed to control much of the illegal activity along the Mexican border including smuggling drugs, guns and illegal aliens for profit from Mexico to the United States. MS-13 is well-known for targeting and killing law enforcement personnel. In early 2005, there was believed to be 5,000 to 6,000 MS-13 gang members in Washington, DC and adjoining communities in Virginia and Maryland. That is just one area of the United States. They wont say.
Amnesty, Amnesty, and flip-flop(meaning, romney's against it until he's elected-Romney's a Republican John Kerry)
What are immigration views of Bush? Do you know?

I'm amazed at how many Bush supporters think Bush is for reigning in illegal immigration. He isn't. He's on the record for his position supporting a wide amnesty --if you could bother to check up on it, oh Bushies.

But that's the thing about the Bush people. They claim to love this guy. and he is always saying things that are opposite of what his followers think he is saying. Or maybe 'think' is too kind a word.

In direct answer to your question, if someone is running for president, no matter what party, they are already owned by the Corporate Ubergovernment. And they have no problem with a high number of illegal workers, because it chokes up the job market, makes people desperate for work, and therefore allows them to keep wages very low and treat their workers abusively.
Who cares, those guys go where the wind blows. What they tell you is what they believe the voters want to hear, not what is best for this country. It takes guts to tell people the truth even when they don't want to accept it.You want to hear something sensible listen to Giuliani"CAN YOU HANDLE THE TRUTH'
When the subject of Immigration Reform was first raised in 2006:

There were 62 votes FOR and 32 AGAINST
Obama/Clinton both FOR

Most of the 32 votes against the bill were cast by Republicans.. See the actual votes here:
