Now that the bill is in question...?
Answer:
You're right they are not all going to go away on their own. That's why the crackdowns will continue to go on. If they don't go on their own, I'm sure taxpayers will burden the cost of having them deported.
Sorry the bill is not in question.
Actually it is not in question. You obviously have access to the internet. How about reviewing current events. See ya!
i heard that on tv before when the war first started that mexicans would join the war for a green card. cant remember which movie.
sounds like you just described a roach infestation
I think that if they don't catch them at the border, then they need to allow them a way to stay. There is no front door to America; thus, the reason for everyone using the 'back door'.
There is a way for them to gain legalization.
They can go back to their country of origin and APPLY FOR LEGAL STATUS. LEGALLY. WITH PAPERS AND STUFF.
This is how all immigrants from non-bordering countries must enter. Why shouldn't it be the same for the people who've been breaking our laws for years?
P.S. You obviously missed something today. The bill is NOT in question anymore. It was defeated today. Didn't you see all the headlines? "Crushing defeat..." Didn't you see all the chatter on Answers?
I think that at least they should legalize people who is paying taxes and all those who have kids (born here in USA).
The bill isn't in question its dead on the floor voted down by a larger majority than 3 weeks ago.And no I don't believe the illegal aliens are going to have a way to gain legalization if that were going to happen they would still be debating the bill.If they want to stay its going to continue to be in the shadows like all criminals do and they will be faced with stricter employment laws and tighter security in the near future as well.
Not soon. This just means a different bill with a different solution has to be crafted, and it likely won't be for a while. The victory is only in killing a bill that would have been much worse than the status quo. Inaction doesn't solve anything.
Pieces like the Dream Act or Ag Jobs will likely be attempted, separately, at a guess.
The bill is Dead...
Now you will see a sugre in Enforcement....of existing Law
