Take a look throughout history and give me examples of walls that actually kept people out. A prison is small compared to the border of the US. Seriously, actually think about how ridiculous the idea of a border fence is. What's to stop someone from going over, under or through it, especially since we can't watch every inch of the border at all times. A border fence is a stupid idea.
You do realize that it's a lot easier to build a prison fence than a border wall, right? I mean, a prison is much smaller and more self-contained, whereas a border fence would be a way bigger undertaking. It'd undoubtedly turn into a huge bureaucratic mess. We'd end up going a billion dollars over budget. It'd be a pork fest for those Congresspersons who represent states along the border.

what do illegals have to do with deficit? can you show me one source showing figures that show a link. not saying it's not a problem, but linking unrelated things is not going to solve those problems. in fact, one could argue that a fence of that size and sturdy enough to be effective would only add to the deficit since it would be expensive as hell to build and maintain. Plus we are talking apples and oranges. What makes prison fences effective is that they are reinforced by armed guards who may shoot to kill.
it's one thing having a few guards posted around a small prison area. another thing entirely to watch thousands of miles of border. Not to mention the ethical dilemna of shooting to kill people for committing what is essentially a non-violent crime.
fox news had a report on illegals, they called them violent. i knew the tables would turn on them as soon as Americans started to see what our govt was doing against the Americans. Americans are waking up and they are fed up.
