Can you live in Australia if you can provide for yourself?
Answer:
Sure you can..There are however many requirements and stipulations OZ has. Age limit for one, $100,000 dollars for Government to hold for a year or so to prove one isn't there to live of government handouts.

You can also do so by investing in a business, opening a business, or buying a holiday home. Of course you'd have to go through the Foreign Investment Review Board in
Sydney about the process - Phone number 026263.3795. I'd try contacting this number using the World Timezones Map for a better idea on the timezone differences.
yep sure can
no, immigration system works on a fairly complex point system, family members living here already, or people with specific skills.
Only if you tick all their boxes when applying for a visa. They are very fussy as to who they allow in. My step-son is in the process of applying & to get the visa application filled out correctly has taken 6 months & it costs about £800 to get it processed & if you are turned down you do not get your money back & you can not reapply for 2 years.
Yes - and Australia is a nice place to live.
But if you can really provide for yourself why not buy an island in SE Asia. Check out this beauty.

You get the island - I'll round up some beer and some girls - we'll have a party - it will be great!
