As porous as that border is, it is ENTIRELY possible...If GW was so concerned about "terrorism", that border should have been locked down since 911.

I think the Drug Cartel Thugs...will keep that in check. If the terrorists come through their doorway...then the borders will be clamped down. Therefore no money for the drug dealers. And in Mexico...if there was a fight between the terrorists and the drug dealers...my money would be on the drug dealers.
The ports are easier and just as open. Plus logistically it is easier. But they won't detonate a nuke in the US, then they can't point out with faux indignation that only that only the USA has used nukes on people.
But a dirty bomb will have just as great a terror impact with the added bonus of more survivors to be terrorized. It can shut down the affected city for decades and ruin the US economy. And they still get to say only the USA has used a full blow nuke on people. That is a PR angle money can't buy.

NO. that would be pure speculation. The Southern Border is at least partly protected and patrolled. There is much more security there and our Northern Border.
All the previous terrorists threats have come from our Northern border, with Canada. There are large parts of our Northern Border that are completely unprotected and unguarded. There are even roads where are you have to do is cross the median in the road and you are in the United States.
If the terrorists were going to bring dangerous WMD's to the United States, it will come through Canada.
It's possible and also disgusting. To think that there might be some of the most devilish fiends on the planet scuttling right under our noses and bringing nuclear weapons with them.
My solution? Well, it's impossible or nearly impossible to track down the lowlifes, but we can at least prevent more re-re's from coming in by:
-Digging a 20 ft trench at the border
-On the US side of the trench, constructing a 20 ft solid wall of concrete, cement, etc
-On the US side of the wall, adding a very deep moat filled with hungry gators
-Lastly, some kind of monitoring system or building so that if someone does survive, we can either
a) but them through extensive boot camp and ship 'em over to Iraq and put them on the front line -OR-
b) deport them [and not give them any food, water, or treatments]
Call me harsh, call America selfish, but we have a right to protect ourselves against possible terrorist threats and this is one way we can do that.
The Drug Cartel will do anything for money and only live for the moment.Since illegals can come into America @ 3000 a day, nuclear material poses no problem for entry.

I think you should look closer at your legal immigrants, like the
2001 terrorist, your doctors that have come from Islamic countries, you are looking at the wrong place. Canada has a very porous border. To logical for Americans to comprehend.!!
