Isn't it time for a United States Border Guard, designated to protect our borders by land? Trained like all other military.

We've already got an armed Border Gaurd service, why confuse things? If they were part of the military they would be subject to The Uniform Code of Military Justice (just like the Coast Gaurd is). They would also be subject to call up for overseas service in time of war, again, just like the Coast Gaurd is (in time of war the USCG becomes part of the Navy).

most of our states that boarder mexico state they have no money for a national guard to control the boarder areas.. they want a federal guard and not a state guard only because of protecting their state tax funds.
states are not doing enough and look the other way when illegals cross, states can not be relied upon, it must be a federal job to do it correctly or a private guard paid for privately which would outdo anything that our government is responsible for. Private enterprises should be the goal to stop illegals. Government has proven their not effective for decades.
Your normal military service branches cant co-ordinate itself never mind throwing another organization into the equitation.
