We defeated the amnesty bill, will the illegal immgrants get the idea they are unwanted in the USA ?

Until those who employ and harbor them are prosecuted there will be no improvement in the situation...remove their refuges and they will fall to the wayside here as they have already done in their own country. It's obvious that they are not wanted in their own country...Stop giving them a false sense of belonging here in this country! Pests will not inhabit a place where is no food or shelter provided for them...kinda' like roaches...

Everyone I know wants the border fixed and the illegals deported, every time I listen to the TV or radio I hear the same message, where is Congress or the pres getting the idea we want a new law? Enforce the ones we already have and I'll be happy.

I doubt it. As long as they have jobs, get free health care, free education, and welfare etc. they have no incentive to leave.
They will if they are denied "OUR" benefits. medicade, rent subsidies, food stamps, SSI, all these are being given to illegals.
Write, call, and email your Congressmen and demand those services be dried up.

You are so naive. Why should illegal immigrants get the idea that they are unwanted here? They are still very much wanted here by huge corporations. There are still millions of illegal immigrants here that will never leave. Nobody has won on this one.
Will the north Americans get the idea that we are missing the point. Seriously think about it. You have the right to vote? Does your vote count? If votes counted when Al Gore won two terms ago by popular vote, he should have been in office. Was he placed in office? I think not.
So what difference would it make if illegal immigrants shared that useless right to vote that we have? It's like sharing a broken bottle. Why would one protect a broken bottle.
You have the freedom of speech? Well try exercising it and tell a governmental official how you feel. You will be in jail faster than you can pronounce the words that you were trying to say. Again the same argument, why are we hording these rights, that we don't even have? Yet here we are latching on to these empty treasure chests like smigol and try to bite anyone who dares to get close to our empty box.
You have a right to minimum wage? Well try to survive on minimum wage. it is not possible unless you have two or three jobs. So the illegals are taking your jobs? Wrong. Corporations, businesses and authority is opening up shop over seas, leaving less jobs here.
Another thing, in the age of the colony when the illegal immigrants (known as colonizers) were told to get out by the legally established people called native Americans, did they "get the idea?" Nope, they killed most of the legally established people and put the rest on reservations. Isn't it funny that the illegal immigrant never seems to get the picture?
They have known all along that they are not wanted in the USA. They won't leave until they can't find a job. Deport their employers and the problem will solve itself.
And just so you know - that employer includes those hiring them to take care of their lawns, clean their houses and take care of their children. No job means no job.
Illegals are unwanted by normal, middle-class Americans. The people with all the money want them here. And, the middle class winds up paying the price - through lower wages and through our taxes providing welfare for illegals.

Now, with the failed bill, they can all breathe a sigh of relief. They will stay, more will come, and nothing will be done about it.
It is impossible to find, roundup and deport 12 million people. Can't be done.
At least with the bill, they had a chance to work their way on a fast track to becoming legal..more would have shown up for processing in order to become legal.
Now they can relax back in to their underground economy.

I think they knew that before the amnesty bill was defeated. That is why there are so many of them on tonight with their feelings, egos and pride all hurt.
