why is it when you talk about illegal immigration, people just throw out the illegal part and talk about immigration?? It just drives me crazy when people call you names, put you down, and say all kinds of crazy things when they are missing the point of the whole issue. I don't think people in this country are agains immigration. heck, we are all immigrants and came here to make a better life for us and our families. But its the ILLEGAL aspect that people don't like. Why should people be rewarded for breaking the law? Why should usa citizens be punished, be fined or sit in prison for breaking the laws, but illegal aliens be granted amnesty?? it makes no sense to me. I don't want to hear "they are only here to make a better life for themselves" this is a bunch of bull, if that is true, then why can't they do it the legal way?? We should all stand up and cheer that the people were heard today and the illegal amnesty bill went down in flames!!

i guess you don't know that it is now practically impossible to get a visa to get into this country.
You try and apply for immigrant ship with your family and have to wait 10 years and then get told you can't, or only one person in the family can. Unless your of native decendance, you have no right to say that people immigrating for abetter life should be deported. try sending all white people back to spain, france, portugal and britain and give the natives their land back you hypocrite.
