we all need to keep fighting this battle. We must continue to advocate for border security, punishment for companies who hire illegal aliens, and deport the illegals which are here illegally in this country. I know people don't like to hear that, but i don't see what is wrong with enforcing the laws we have now. I don't want to see nothing happen for the next couple of years. This would only cause the problem to get worse...

There will never be a fence. The border with Mexico is 1,950 miles long..ain't gonna happen.
People who are in the country illegally are not eligible, nor do they receive welfare, food stamps, rent subsidys. You are sadly misinformed.
As to enforcing immigration law, it hasn't been enforced in 100 years. Government knows that commerce depends upon this cheap labor force. They will not stop the flow.
The bill is dead - so is immigration reform.
Those here illegally can relax now and go back to work.
