I want to visit the UK. I have tried several time but has been refused a visa.?

I am in Ghana. I want to visit the UK. I have tried several time but has been refused a visa. now my daughter lives with my divorced wife in the UK, I cant visit because I cant get a visa. Any help? the child is been crying around school that she wants to see her daddy. what should I do? Has the child any rights to her father visiting her?

Answer:
Did you make an application under Rule 246 of the immigration rules: A person exercising rights of access to a child in the UK? IF not then you can try this avenue but you'll need a Contact Order/ Residence ORder granted by a Court in the UK.
I think the government is trying to tell you something, duh!
What did you do that caused them to think that you are an undesirable alien?
Why can't your daughter visit you?
If you have tried several times and been denied entry into the UK,not sure there is anything you can do. The British Government must have a good reason for denying a visa...
They would let if u had a trade i.e there is a limted amount of plumbers and brick layers, they would let u if u were to work as one of those in the country. They probably dont care if ur child is there,, wrong i no
When they refuse you a visa they tell you why. If you're applying again without resolving any of the problems the Entry Clearance Officer previously identified, then you're wasting your time.
I would make an appointment to see somebody at the British High Commission. Try and find out why your applications previously have been refused. Put forward your side of the story with your daughter.

Hope this website helps you.

Probably because 'we have heard that one before'.

If your brothers and cousins didnt abuse the UK immigration system in the first place maybe you would have more of a chance.

They tend to assess you on what reasons would you have for returning home - ie dependants and job etc, so if its more than likely that you may overstay in the UK they rightfully refuse you. Wish they were as strict with other countries.
I think they're refusing you because you have too many strong ties to the UK and once you come into the country there is a high risk you will stay as an illegal immigrant. You need to prove that you have enough reason to come back to Ghana.

As for the child having any rights to the father visiting her. Well, you should have a closer look at your court orders. If your ex-wife was allowed to take a child overseas that means she probably has full custody or your blessing. The child doesn't have much of a legal say in it because she is just that. A child.
As others have said, you need to find out why they have refused you. It is likely to be because they think you will overstay your visa, or else because they don't believe you have enough funds to finance your stay. Do you have a letter from someone offering accommodation? If you have someone in the UK who is willing to help you out, they could sponsor you to visit. They would be best to approach a solicitor here in the UK to see the best way of going about this - but even if they can offer everything, the embassy can still refuse a visa.

You need to clearly establish why you would be likely to return to Ghana, for example ongoing family and business commitments there, ownership of property, etc. Obviously, any history of overstaying, criminal behaviour, or apparent dishonesty or inconsistencies in visa applications is likely to be fatal.

Of course, another (cheaper!) option might be for your daughter to visit you in Ghana; this would have the advantage of bringing her closer to that part of her heritage. She would visit not only you, but her extended family.
because you would likely end up staying illegally.too much ties you are a high risk
you cant come
