Amend EAD Application forms before issue of EAD?

Hi,

I had sent out the J2 EAD forms to the USCIS, California center on May 11.

However in the last one week (after applying for EAD) my spouse's J1 has extended and i need to send out these updated documents to the USCIS before they start processing my EAD with these documents for reference.

I have not yet received my receipt number.

Any ideas how to proceed??
