I have known this for awhile. Alot of my friends have beem filing taxes for years using their tax ids. No one wants to believe that they do pay taxes, Americans hate to be proven wrong once they have stated something they so firmly believe in. I live in Ga, and there alot of services available to help them file their taxes, and encourage them to file.
Okay, so some of them will willingly pay taxes, but they will also willingly come to the country illegally? I think the ONLY way they will ever be accepted is to come to the US legally.
If you notice, most of your articles state they are starting to file taxes. THis means that they have been stiffing us earlier. The Oregon article shows they still don't pay their fair share in taxes. THey pay on average 3.3% of their income in taxes. I'm paying over 50% of my income in taxes (I live in California) . This demonstrates that they are not paying for their fair share. I do appreciate those who decided to pay for their share of keeping our country running, but a black economy never works for a countries good.

By the way, half the article mention that alot of them use stolen SSN, even though TIN has been available for 9 years. That's not a good thing either.
It just proves that they are just here to get a better life; just like everyone else. There has always been illegal immigration in this country; yet, our economy continues to be strong. History shows that wars have always contributed to a bad economy; especially long ones. Illegal immigrants may actually be balancing our current economy.
