Why should we differentiate between "civil and criminal" illegal aliens? Aren't they all the same (illegal)?

We differentiate between criminals all the time.And no they are not all the same...By your definition, anyone who commits a crime is a criminal, right? But you can't compare some one who commits murder to someone who has a speeding violation, the penalties are vastly different.A speeder, won't even serve time, but only pays a fine.Even those with gross law violations, such as convicted pedophiles are release early because of the over crowding of our prisons.
Then by the same token.. your definition.. a speeder who gets a ticket and pays a fine is getting amnesty? Right?
They are all criminals in my mind. The minute they set foot on U.S. soil they have committed a crime. When they fake or steal someones id, they have committed another crime. When they rent using that faked or stolen id, yet another crime. When they fail to pay taxes, still another crime. Under states 3 strikes rules, a 3rd felony conviction gets you 25 to life. They are all criminals. Build the wall and throw the illegals over it.
No, we should not. However, civil cimes are generally labeled as white collar crimes like fraud, identity theft, etc. whereas criminal courts hear crimes like murder, assault, battery, DUI, rape, -- crimes that involve weapons and injury to person. There are different penalties for civil crimes than criminal crimes. So, maybe what we should do is try to ensure that we document all the crimes commited by illegal immigrants and ensure that the number of charges brought against them are so numerous that they will spend most of their lives in jail. Also civil crimes will allow for lawsuits by Citizens and can also require restitution be paid. The law will work if we will simply enforce it. Oh, and if these illegal immigrants commit crimes against a citizen over the age of 60, it is an elevated crime. Let's get busy and prosecute. Let's fill our civil coffers with goods and fines to illegal immigrants and ensure that if they don't pay they go directly to jail and are bussed to California to work in the fields as criminal wards of the Federal Judicial System. That's fair and just and equal treatment under the law.
