I lived in romania for six years as bussines man and had bussiness viza can i apply for romanian citizenship?

and now i am a US citizen please please let me know if i can qualify for romanian citizenship and how long it will take thanks.

Answer:
Unfortunately not, you have to live in Romania for 8 years to be able to apply for citizenship ( unless you're married with a Romanian citizen, in which case you only need 5 years).

Also, it doesn't matter what citizenship you have now, the point is that you must be actually living in Romania when you apply for Romanian citizenship.
