I agree. It isn't as if they didn't know the penalty for breaking the law when they broke it.
However, you are being generous. From the number of 'last name withheld due to the fact that she is in the country illegally' stories, many of the spouses don't have legal right to be here either, they just weren't present to be caught up in the raids. The children, or some of them, were the only ones legally here in several of the articles I read. Yet all of the articles spoke of 'splitting up families' as if we were preventing those here from leaving.
I can only say that I agree whole heartedly with your assessment.I would follow my husband anywhere no matter where it was or my citizenship.

Maybe they're not as devoted to family as the propaganda that is spewed by the "pros" would have us believe.
Maybe the families of the illegal aliens are unable due to unknown circumstances to enter a foreign country. Most other countries have rather stringent immigration requirements.
Cause those women love the money of the USA more than they love their husbands. Their families mean nothing, they just marry out of convenience. Have you ever seen a mexican couple being in love? They always look angry at each other and at the world around them.
