Are we finally being heard?

I think so! The immigration bill was solidly defeated and won't be coming back for quite a while, if ever. It was all our phone calls, faxes, e-mails, and constant hounding of the senators and congressmen that did it. I want to congratulate each and everyone of you who contributed in some small way to the failure of the bill. It just shows one thing. If we all join together we CAN get them to listen to us. They HAVE to listen to us, because we have voting power. They want votes. Now let's continue to use our power. Let's not stop now! We still need to get the fence built, and the government to stop playing the politically correct game. Let's see some raids! Let's see employers getting jail time for employing illegals! Let's start deporting! Time to rock and roll! Let's see some action!

Answer:
You got that right,it makes us have a small hope that maybe we are getting the govt back on track. No matter what side of the political fence you are on,left right or in the middle,WE ALL DID IT AS AMERICANS.Good work everyone.Lets keep those voices being heard.
I know what are they up to now?
Yes, instead of Iraqi deaths, I want to see the daily deportation tallies! That would be so cool.
i thought we already got the fence/wall and bush signed it...where's the fence/wall i bought...(i know that dang thing is around here somewhere...where'd bush put it?)
Amen!
The fight is not over.We do need to keep the pressure up.My/our great country is worth it and I will never give up.
Now that makes good since! Enforce our laws huh! Guess bush never heard of that!
Sorry to say my E mails to my senators were ignored and both of them voted in favor of the bill. I look forward to working against them when then come up for election again. I think Specter will retire after this term as his health is bad and I think He knows how unpopular he has become. As for Casey He is a waste of time and it is sad that he pushed out a good senator. I think he will be a one term senator and Santorum will return unless he steps into Specter's seat.
You are correct. We just need to enforce the laws already in place. The Bush Administration has done a GREAT job with this issue of simply enforcing and deporting illegals. Just keep it up and get better.
Oh yeah, I just figured...if we deport 100 people per state each day, that will be almost 2 million per year sent to their native land! They are so proud of Mexico, Central and South America anyway. Sure would save the American taxpayer a ton of money; our cost of living would go down nioticeably. Plus, we need stepped up patrols along our southern border.. every inch of it from Texas to California! Let's take our country back. Come on; let's get this done
And now they want to stop talk radio that spread the word to some as to what was in the bill.

Tsk tsk tsk. And the Democrats so PRETEND to be in favor of free speech.
well i disagree this is happening now and they are jest putting it aside jest b/cuz they said no dosen;'t mean they illegals are going to vanish
