Indefinite leave to remain?

I have an indefinite leave to remain in the UK. Been here over ten years. I wanted to know how i can change my wife's status (since she is already here studying with student visa). Also how can i apply for my sons passport as he was born in the UK. Please can you advice on what forms i need, how much it might cost and who to contact for the applications.thanks
