Why do you think the United States is a wealthier nation than Mexico?
Answer:
Spain came to Mexico and destroyed the indigenous peoples, their culture and civilization while imposing theirs upon their victims.
The Spanish left when they were defeated by Lord Nelson at the battle of Trafalgar. Their economy was ruined from the stolen gold they flooded the European market with and they also could not finance anymore expeditions for gold and silver to the new world or carry on with capricious wars.
This left the Mexicans in the lurch and with a corrupt system in place modeled after the one that existed in Spain.
Mexico was never able to recover.
Because we revolted against tyranny. Which if things keep going the way they are i fear might be a possibility again.
some Mexican on here will say it's becuase we manipulate thier economy to try to keep down latinos,,we use thier resources and keep them poor
in reality it's becuase a non progressive culture that doesn't value education or buisness,,, Americans are actualy harder workers in history,,,we built up this nation in the industrial revolution,,,while the Mexican were singing miriachi songs and making babies
