They do not get the same rights and benefits that citizens get. When they retire they will not get Social Security and Medicare. Also they are not given the same rights as regular US Citizens.
Because they make less money?
If you are here legally and are authorized to work (green card) then you pay the same amount of state and federal taxes that a citizen would depending on your income. You also pay into social security, unemployment and disability. To Drake -- if you pay into social security (citizen or legal resident) you are entitled to social security and medicare benefits when you retire. I believe you are not entitled to supplemental social security.
Most of them don't even pay taxes.. That was one of many reasons why the business I started died before I could ever get it off the ground! They refused to pay taxes on my product because they knew I had already paid them? LOL Not to mention they don't trust white skinned people to do business with especially if you don't speak Spanish..Should I have to speak Spamish in America to survive?
When did that happen? I'm paying the same amount of taxes in my income bracket. Nobody told me that i get to pay less.

Seriously, you need to get your facts first. Nobody is entitled to special favors when it comes to paying taxes. At least here you get to see your tax dollars at work. In other countries tax money ends up in the pockets of the incumbent politicians.
