Formalities for a baby born in UK for Indian parents?

Are there any formalities for a baby (born in UK) for Indian parents who are working in UK? Also any citizenship issues back in India?

You will need to get a passport for the baby from the Indian High Commission and apply to the Home Office so that the child has some sort of dependency status within the UK.
