It also outlines the fact that you will be responsible for the financial welfare of the person you are petitioning for for a certain period of time or until that person is a citizen of the US..
Say you end up divorced...and if that person is forced to to use means-tested state or federal help, the state and/or the federal govt will come after you to foot the bill.so in essense...your stuck..so take care...
