Why is it not possible to send all the illegals BACK to their country of origin?
Answer:
I agree with you completely! Yes, that is what the operation was called and yes, it is history, and yes we should be able to do it again! It would be a very cost effective thing to do today, as it was in the 50s.
Of course it would be possible, the question is at what cost and for what benefit. I'm not sure if you're smart enough to understand the numbers we are talking about processing, holding and transporting. Not smart enough to understand because your mind is filled up to capacity with vile hate, contempt for the United States and the lies and misinformation you use to support your hate and contempt. How pathetic.
Because it would cost tens of billions of dollars that are not allocated to the task.
At a cost of roughly 10 billion dollars per year, we can process and deport approximately 5 million undocumented aliens per year. So, a minimum of 2-3 years just to deal with the current estimated population. And that just covers the costs of getting them to the border -- not transport overseas for anyone who doesn't come from Canada or Mexico.
So, yes, it is possible. Congress just doesn't have a spare 30 billion dollars lying around to do it.
Of course, if we stopped funding all military operations in the Middle East, we could probably come up with the money. It all depends on what people consider a bigger problem to fix.
The link below goes through the calculations for where I got those numbers.
It is not only POSSIBLE it is what must be done! Sorry but "wet back" was a common term term for the illegal Mexicans in the 50s and 60s. I'm not being racist either but I remember the term when I was really young.
Amazing to me how people will say it cost to much to deport them....What dont they realize the cost if we dont? Here is a link to another MyTend user that may better explain operation ******* ..... http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind...
Impossibility isn't an issue and neither is cost, since they cost more by staying. However, if the employers admitted it was for cheap labor and to drive down our wages, they might be held responsible for the social and service costs of their work force. Certainly that would never do, would it?
It costs us more if they stay.Time to send their a55es on out of here.
There are flights sending hundreds every day taking then back. Know that would be 1 tax i would be happy 2 pay. Except our bribed Gov officials like there moneys from big business??So getting then 2 send then back in the thousands is a stretch??
Laws and circumstances are different... Now the cost of judges for deportation would be astronomical, if we were able go get the many judges in the first place.
well when that happens I'm going with them cuz the economy here is gonna crash, we're gonna loose so many workers, and friends. come on now....this isnt even feasible.
Because America is trying to be politically correct and that there are way to many people that would see it as wrong to send illegals back. I personally think the healthcare system would imporve dramatically, but what do I know, I only work for hospitals in California.
Or why not try and help those who need it?? And how would they do it?? Look for people that 'seem illegal' and send them back? I know what you are talking about and you should see the movie Mi Familia. So much for all this 'justice, freedom, and liberty'...I say amnesty or something like it. That is messed up that the country that is known for helping immigrants and people in need turns their back on them. The U.S. is such a contradiction.
