My gambian husbands temporary green card is on teh way and now hes acting stupid what do i do about this.?

i've heard that its only valid for 2 years.

Answer:
The temporary I-551 is good for one year. 90 days before the second anniversary the spouse needs to summit an I-751 to remove the conditional status. Once this is completed then he will be a permanent legal resident.

Good luck!
Talk to him!
Yes it is valid for two years. He must apply after two years to have the conditions removed. If he does not, he must re-apply, which means leaving the USA to do so. If he no longer has a genuine marriage with the citizen who originally petitioned for him, he will have to prove one of two things:
1. That he was a victim of spousal abuse or
2. That you did not enter into the marriage in good faith but he did.

If he cannot prove either of those things and you choose not to support his application, it will be denied and he will be subject to deportation.
