Common sense would indicate that anyone that doesn't want to be held accountable for breaking the law wouldn't qualify as upstanding in any way. But it's your personal choice to like them if you choose to do so.

I don't know why you should like the Mexico immigrants, but I can give you a reason to not hate Mexican immigrants: A large number of them only want to be able to support their families. By working. Are we losing tax money and public resources on illegal aliens? You betcha. But I find it hard to hate them.
