Frustration!?
What blows me away is how people can just come here and get all these services, for free. While my road to being a US Resident has be a costly one.
This does not only frustrate me but it also frustrates my co-works who are from Spain and Latin America. We came here with work visas had attorneys do the paper work for us. We are college educated but yet people with barely a 6th grade education get a free ride.
Talk about double standards!
Answer:
You deserve to be frustrated. It is ridiculous. We as U.S. citizens are fighting so that comes to a stop. You certainly deserve better treatment than the illegals. I wish you well.
Amen. I share your frustration as well.
Is there a question in there somewhere?
Be glad you got that college education, the illegals can't.
Be glad for your bank account, your drivers license, and your credit cards, because the illegals can't get those, either.
You should maybe try working for what you want and being proud of what you achieve rather than looking with envy and frustration at those who have snuck across the border. I promise you, your life is much easier than theirs.
Totally agree with you!! Thank you for doing things the legal way. WELCOME TO AMERICA!! Hope you stay for many years to come!!
Your right, but what would you do to get to where you are if you didn't have rich parents, and lots of resources.
You now have a job that pays a lot more than any illegal field worker.
Be grateful not greedy. Let others share the pie
Thanks for posting and you are a great example of doing it the right way. Too bad the folks on the illegal side won't learn anything from it. We all share your frustration.
It is going to take some time, but all the signs of change are there.
The door is starting to close for illegals, moochers and felons skipping across our southern border.
There's no double standard. These people enter our country illegally. The average tax paying American is just as frustrated as you. If you have a plan that will effectively keep illegals from entering our country, we are all ears.
Glade you did the legal way. Were proud your here an will stand with you. The day will come when the illegals will be deported or jailed for there criminal ways. There no such thing as a free ride they will pay for the ride in time. Not double standards just politician with there own agenda. We the people have spoken No amnesty. Be safe an have fun.
I share your frustration. While I was born here, I know people who came here legally from other countries and they feel that it's a slap in the face after waiting and working so hard to come here the right way.
How wonderful that you had parents who could afford the costs and you had a place to live and work while you were waiting. And, I'll bet you are white.
Most immigrants who come across our southern border have none of those things. Most live in abject poverty with no jobs, no way to make a living, no place to live and no one to sponsor them.
Stop feeling superior and put-out. Walk a mile in someone elses shoes.
I share your frustration. It has been a financial struggle for me to do it the legal way. Legal immigrants pay fees to the USCIS which are intended to cover the costs of providing immigration services. That is right and proper. The US taxpayer should not have to shoulder the burden of administrative processes for people who wish to come here. Nor should citizens and legal immigrants alike have to pay a disproportionate share for illegals to enjoy superior public services. I also find it objectionable that the proposed immigration bill charges illegals less (in some circumstances) than legals have to pay. I would like to hear a valid argument for that one!
BarB, if Mexicans are in abject poverty, where do they find the money to pay the coyotes? I suppose one might argue that they have to pay the coyotes back by working it off. In either case, the USA's only blame in this matter is not enforcing immigration laws firmly enough.
let;s face it dumbs.
your government knows where all those immigrants are, but they do not deport them , and you know why??
because they pay taxes, and do not get a refund like you..
is extra money for them to spend in war and project that don't work.
besides, if we ere not here who do you think would work for mcdonalds?or restauramts? you??i do no tthink so.
so you have to live with this.
You are an example of what Americans expect from immigrants. You are what is considered a "LEGAL" immigrant. There is a huge difference between a LEGAL immigrant & an "ILLEGAL" immigrant. It blows me aways as well, to know that our government turns a blind eye to these people.
so your parents had the the money to get you to go to school?
hun most people don't have money to eat.
your lucky some aren't.
who are you to judge?
if your perfect i'd love to meet you.
