I would tell you to stay away from the last person who answered as they obviously are racist. Stay away from "Natives" INCREDIBLY racist comment. Paint everyone with one brush, this is exactly what the questions is talking about. Racism in Canada. Well its alive and well, I am sorry to say. BUT you will find a lot less here than in many other countries. Just be you and you will be fine. Enjoy Canada and Canadians, which are from varying backgrounds, ethnicity's and cultures. Peace.

I have never seen any of that in Canada. They are peace loving people who are very nice. BUT stay away from the native americans in Canada they don't play nice. Really some of them are "rowdy"
Well, lately being an immigrant has become synonymous with "invader", "criminal", "illegal", despite being legal or naturalized. U.S., Europe, Russia, Australia are examples. It'll be a matter of time for Canada to turn out that way, if it hasn't already.

If I understand the Canadian immigration law correctly, it is super enforced and to become a citizen of Canada is actually pretty complex. Canadians are vey nice people, and have much respect for individual rights as much as the right of their citizens and country. I would think if you immigrate there legally, you should have no problems at all.
