I have been working almost 20yrs. of my life and havent gotten anywhere besides paying bills?

Try a mutual fund. You can start out small by taking 20 dollars out of your check every week and investing it.

you think you are the only one, buddy there are several like you but life goes on. And you think those people who are rich are happy, " all that glitters is not gold". Unless you hit lottery you will still be doing the same so am I.
Education and budgeting your money!! Education will bring you higher paying jobs and budgeting your money will keep more money in your bank account and less in the bill collector's hands (if you don't spend it, they can't take it!).
One more thing, whatever job you wish to hold in the future then you must start looking for jobs now that will give you the experience and knowledge to do that dream, high paying job in the future.
Join the club. Just when I find something to bring something extra in.someone else has their hand out to take it. No amount of planning and budgeting has managed to work. Just about the time I start to see daylight.another club comes down.
We used to have a balanced life. I don't know if anyone does anymore. It seems it's all or nothing. You either work and have money or you spend time with your family and go day by day. Very few get the luxury of succeeding in both.
Are you single? It sounds like you have childern. Do you have a partner, boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband. Do they contribute to the house hold finacially.
Do you own your own home? Got any extra room for someone that you could have live in your house and pay rent. That could help.
If you have kids are they old enough to do things like mow yards in summer, rake leaves, paper route, shovel in the winter (depending if it gets that cold where you live).
Trust me if your doing this alone your are not in the boat by yourself. And alot of people today are living far beyond there means and going into serious bankrupcy because they got in over there heads.

There is a couple of ways to do it. Get more education = better job. Move to another location where the job market is better. For example.2 years ago I was making around $12 or $13.00 an hour. I move to Virginia and work in DC and I have doubled the figure.
You just have to move around and look for a good job market.
Wish I knew the magic answer, as I must have been missed that class in school where they teach you how to make a bazillion dollars so you can retire at 35. I'm in the same boat, only my boat is a little longer as I've been working now for 33 years now and all I have to show for it is my military retirement. Have you considered a home-based business, such as selling for E-bay? I understand its possible to make a decent amount of cash doing that and there are trainers available to teach you how it all works. I'm thinking about checking it all out; just haven't been able to yet. Good luck.
