Why don't Americans get mad at big business or government instead of Mexicans?

I hear what you're saying. I think a lot of the anger over the illegal immigration debate is misfocused on the illegal immigrants themselves. And I think people are inundated with false facts and false assumption about how illegals are destroying our country when in my opinion I haven't seen a lot of evidence that they are. Some, but not a lot.
It seems to me that the government and big business are interested in maintaining cheap labor and having a growing consumer base so they don't worry too much about illegal or legal immigration. More customers are good for them regardless of where they happen to be born. So if you don't like illegal immigration it would seem that going after those who are perpetuating the situation and not those being exploited by it, would be the wiser decision.
And I dont think this reflects upon the educational system too much. Any sort of emotional issue like this is bound to provoke an emotional and not critical response. My first response to illegal immigrants was certainly an emotional and not necessarily a logical one.

But please don't go off trying to act like the illegal aliens are totally innocent, because they aren't. They broke the law too and need to be deported/sent back to their country of origin!
its a misunderstanding on your part. americans have been demanding that employers be heavily fined for hiring mexican workers or any illegal alien. we are overwhelmed with illegals in america. every other country has borders, why shouldnt america? if you try to cross mexicos southern border, they will shoot you for your trouble!
good question. i think a lot of it is due to ignorance. same reason why there is still a lot of racism towards blacks. ignorance. sad, but we live in a world where people want to believe what they want & follow tradition. daddy hated blacks, so i hate blacks. or daddy hate mexicans (or any other ethnicity) so I hate mexicans.

Let's talk about this issue...first of all, Americans HATE paying high prices for anything. (UN)employed Americans would never and have never wanted to work those low paying but important manual labor jobs. Mexican nationals are only about 60% of the documented/undocumented immigrant labor so what about the other 40%. Mexicans legal or not are not the problem the system is broken and nobody has the @#$ to fix it.
We all know that big business and Government are riping us off... But when they are busted , they go to jail... When the Illegals come to the United States and get busted.. We send them back and the Illegals turn around and return...
Two thing I hate about any Illegals is when they Kill, Rape etc. Any Americans...
And run back to Mexico... And hide... And all of the Mexicans Gangs.

Americans DO get mad at big business and corporations. We absolutely do. I agree with you that many of them are predatory establishments who will exploit illegal workers in order to save money. I have always stated that the American government should crack down hard on these corrupt businesses and practices.
HOWEVER---
Is it big business's fault that millions of illegals come over solely to exploit our country as well? It is not fair nor logical to discuss exploitation without considering it from both sides. Illegals comes to America, not to embrace it, not to become citizens, not to respect it's laws nor it's people, and then demand rights and amnesty and more free housing/medical etc., than any American citizen could hope to get. The illegals certainly take part in their share of the exploitation.
They come to expoloit and get exploited themselves. It's a vicious circle.
I think the problems would be SO much better if businesses were forced to pay fair wages to LEGAL citizens, and were not allowed to hire illegals. I think the problems would be so much better if our border patrol was more strictly enforced. I think the problems would be so much better if illegals were told to become legal citizens or leave. Simple.
And people need to QUIT playing the racism card. I have NOTHING against Mexicans, or any other nationality. But I DO have a problem with illegals. That is neither racist, nor unreasonable.
I'm angry at both since they are equally aware that what they're doing is wrong.
Because most of us are not deep thinkers. Most Americans can not see any deeper than the symptoms of the bigger problem.
I assume you mean illegal immigrants? Because they are the perpetrators deciding it is more important for their child to have an education in our children's overcrowded schools than for our children to have the education we pay for. Their children are not more important than ours, their sick are not more important than ours and their poor are not more important than ours. We have reasons for our limits and they are taking what is not theirs from our own most vulnerable.
There is plenty of anger to go around.
The notion that illegals are all innocent families coming across the border to earn a living is BS.
Many are murders, gang members, rapists and other social misfits.
We have a right to secure our border and screen out the scum bags.
In fact we have a duty to our country to do it.
