Did you hear about Barbara Boxer, senator from California?
Answer:
Who do I email in NC? And do you have the email address for NC Senate and Reps.
Yahoo to Californians! Way to set the pace for the rest of us lazyazzes.
Thanks for SOME GOOD NEWS for a change.
YEA!
She is a liberal. What do you expect?
You heard wrong
I always liked Barabra Boxer.I am a ex Californian...
Dont stop there. Call Zoe Lofgren of the San Jose Office. She is helping to steer this behind the scenes, and I let her have it. i got a letter from her office. it could have had a few more empty statements if they had tried. Not one truth in the darned reply.
Senator Boxer is probably one of the best public servants in this country for the precise reason that she actually thinks of and conducts herself as a PUBLIC SERVANT! Kudos to the Senator for listening to and bowing to the will of her constituents!
Don't worry, I'm working on those two-faced lying bastards from Florida.
It's too bad that Sen. Feinstein voted the wrong way! She needs to change her mind as well.
*Feinstein (D-CA), Yea
***MM - Both of your Senators voted NO! (Burr & Dole) You could send them an email thanking them. : ) click on the link to get to their emails.

Her flip flop is not surprising. Even among her fellow libs she's considered a lightweight.
All the current and potential illegal aliens need to accept the fact that the United States is fed and and will no longer put up with it. You are on notice that no longer will you be allowed any freebies. Being lazy and not going thru the proper process will gain you nothing.
Wow. One more hater for the list.
If that is correct it's great news, but I find that hard to believe
i'd love to know where you got that information. . .sources?
I know I already touched a nerve with my representative.
I think he'll get the hint soon.

Press Release of Senator Boxer
Boxer Statement on the Cloture Vote on Immigration
Thursday, June 7, 2007
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) today issued the following statement on the immigration bill:
“I know how hard my colleagues have worked—on both sides of the aisle—to put this immigration bill together. But I believe that this bill, as it currently stands, is unworkable and unfair. This bill needs to be clarified, simplified, and rectified before I can support it.
“If enacted, I believe the bill will lead to the exploitation of workers, including the 12 million undocumented immigrants we all hope to put on the path to legalization. I also believe it will exert downward pressure on wages at a time when we are already losing our middle class".
YOU HEARD right!! On the practice vote last week she voted NO!! Shocked the crap out of me. :0)
Now we need to continue to work on our OTHER wonderful (NOT) Senator!!
John, you heard right but it isn't our letters and emails that are swaying her (well, mine might be, but I bring up points she would agree with like the bill's impact on labor and the middle class, and the boilerplate being unfixable). She is one of the farthest LEFT Senators and hates this bill for not giving future workers a path to citizenship under the guest worker program and for the family preference issue and, yes, for impacts on labor and the middle class. The one thing is, she is principled, and backroom deals are not her long suit.
I often disagree with her, but I never thought she was a sycophant.
And she is against the bill. Bless her bleeding heart.
good. i get emails from Cali to oppose the bill. and yes, you guessed it. i voted no. congrats. here in in the south all our reps voted no.
I'm confused. Is she trying to get rid of the immigrants and keep them out for good? If so, props to Barbara!
no i did not
