Don't you love the media's portrayal of the defeat of S.1639?

It's all about constituent anger over the inability of Congress to "solve" this problem, while in reality the constituents wanted this bill to die. It was a whopper of a bad bill, but you'd never know it reading the news.

Answer:
The only reason it died is because of great people such as you people who called, faxed, and emailed your politicians in opposition.Great job people. We defeated corporate America and powerful lobby groups.Oh and corrupt politicians.
Hilarious.

And typical.
The media are scum mongers- If reporters knew about an ambush to U.S. forces, they wouldn't say anything so they would have a story- talk about your "journalistic integrity". Meh, the media is what keeps the world frightened and as smart as a 12 year old.
Some elements of the media simply amuse me.
I prefer the ones who actually inform me.
The liberal media keeps saying that the majority of the people wanted something done, what they fail to mention is that the majority of the people wanted the bill dead, even Bush keeps harping on the american people, even his small brain should admit that it was the people that spoke out in anger against the bill
Yes, I just love a lying activist media that spins and twists everything around to fit it's destructive agenda.

Oh, no, wait, I can't stand the ******
just watch fox news..you will get the whole story
