I haven't really made an opinion on illegal immigration. I don't really care if they stay or go. However I don't see the point (for those who do) to come illegally to this country then do things like this:

You need to get over your "poor self pity" and begin to smell the cofffee! In this country (and I assume you are from the US), ANYONE can get ahead in life by working hard. Yes, there are hurdles and struggles, but anyone and everyone faces different problems. I am proof of this!
As far as the immigration bill, if you are not legal, you should not be here. Amnesty is the worst thing that can be done.

Though I'm not black, I find flaws in what you are saying. The civil right movement was fighting for the rights of minorities who were legal US citizens. (Note I said LEGAL US citizens) This isn't about white people keeping people of color down, this is about Americans being against illegal immigration. (Note I said ILLEGAL Immigration) We don't have a problem with immigrants coming here as long as they come here legally. (Note again I said LEGALLY) There is no comparison to the Civil Rights movement. Coming from a black person, I thought for sure you would know your history better. Blacks were forced here, illegals commited a crime by staying here. Blacks were made to come here and sold out by their own homeland. Illegals were not slaves and made to do anything. They need to be made to go home.

I think it would be helpful if you focused on either legal or illegal immigration. The two are very different things.
Now, I think you make half a good point in that the 'rich' really do have more to gain from both types of immigration, since both can serve to depress wages and thus lower the cost of labor, which is good for companies and businesses - and even the rich socialite who hires servants. Not all the rich are white, and not all the poor are non-white, though, so you can dump that bit.

Racism from the hispanic gangs stems from the prison system in California. There are some latino gangs that have aligned themselves with black gangs like the Black Guerrilla Family and their rivals have sided with the Aryan Vanguard. Racism is becoming a major fuel for divide and conquer strategies. Black gangs are also known to use racial epithets. That article is one-sided.
