Do they really think that ....?

Answer:
I agree with you, also, they are the ones that do the job no other "legal" person wants to do, they just go to the nearest welfare office and draw as much aid as they can and those "illegal" workers pay it with all the taxes taken out of their paychecks that never comes back... Irony? I think so
I think most immigrants choose to work for low wages due to the need of earning money to be able to support their family in their country of origin as well as themselves, Another thing that contributes to that exploitation is the fact that illegal immigrants are afraid to report any "abuse" from its employer because they fear of being deported. I think they are not many of these cases where immigrants are actually being forced to slavery- but they still do happen.
Most people in this forum are severely misinformed and sheltered.
You must be joking.
Are you really saying all those 12-20 million illegal immigrants were forced to come to America from a third world country, and now they toil in slavery? Sounds a tiny bit far-fetched.
Of course they'll work for low wages, those wages are sky-high compared to the wages they'd receive in Mexico.
The problem is not eeeevil America, it's corruuuuupt Mexico that is the problem.
in mexico few families can afford school for their kids because the govt there makes them buy er'thing {{books, clothes etc etc}}.the mexican govt would rather help their ppl illegally enter the US so their ppl get a b.s. job and send $ back to mexico..mexico's own govt forces them into slavery by not financing the education of its children..
they choose to and have to work for low wages because they have family to support and any wage they get is good enough for them to support a family
Then why are they risking their lives to come over here?!?!?! Holy crap!! Why are we so worried about them? They shouldn't be here!! They are criminals!! I like them. I work with them daily, and have even learned Spanish to communicate with them, and I recognize that they are here illegally, and still better off here than if they were in the corrupt cess pool known as Mexico.
Most of them do choose to work for low wages to support the family. As for the two women from Indonesia, I'm sure they didn't think they were going to be enslaved. That's wrong and cruel and the couple who did it should rot in jail.
Isolated incident.
when are we going to care about all the homeless and children that are U.S. citizens? Might as well give all are money to convicted felons. No other country allows people to break the law right out in the open and get away with it. This is bull.
for low wages? I just spoke to someone from Mexico, he is immigrating his son legally, I asked what kind of work does his son do in Mexico, he said his son was an apprentice electrician, is paid $700.00 pesos a week, that's around 70 u.s. dollars, now when he gets to the u.s. he can start as an apprentice electrician making at least 10-12 dollars an hour, he'll earn more in one day than he did in mexico, then if you add overtime, wow. My son is journeyman electrician and earns 22.00 an hour, plus truck allowance, phone and insurance. Do you think this pay difference would make you come over illegally.
This goes with the saying "be careful what you wish for". You wish to come to America illegally and it may not be paradise. Karma sucks.
Lol,forced into slavery? I don't recall anyone bringing over illegals aliens I believe they came all on their own. If they want to demand better wages, they should go home and do that where they have a right to. They deserve NO rights here.
when was the last time you went to Mexico..there were help wanted signs up in a lot of stores..... the economy is getting much better there,,,,,,,,,,,, i am talking about the middle of Mexico not the tourist bull ****,,,,,,,,, i just got back 2 weeks ago so the country is improving.....
