No difficulties - just stay in your home country and embrace your heritage. Otherwise, become an American.

heritage is something you are born and bred with. You won't have a difficult time becoming an American. America is founded on many different cultures and you should in corporate America into your love of your heritage. Once you become a citizen, America is a part of you too!
We aren't saying to give up your heritage.
We are just saying learn the language and quit trying to sing the National Anthem in Spanish.
Think of it this way...Don't you hate it when some American mispronounces your name? That's how we feel.
There really aren't any problems. I was born in the UK, and am now a naturalized American. I have adopted American customs like Thanksgiving (Ironic, considering my ancestry!) but I still hold on to customs and thought processes that are identifiably British.
There are only problems if someone fails to assimilate; if they won't learn the language, want to hold to customs that are illegal in the US (like Islamic honor killings) and who continue to hold allegiance to another country - this is illegal, and means that the immigrant has broken their oath to renounce other governments.
There's nothing wrong with holding onto your heritage, culture, and beliefs. But since this is America and this country is known for it's diversity. It is important to assimilate into society. Don't forget where you come from, but don't try to force it upon others. People here don't like that.
Learning English is the first thing to become more americanlize.

We don't see illegals trying to hold on to their heritage, rather they are trying to force it on Americans.
we have no problems about that. we love our heritage.we do no t want to become americans. not only us. you can see paople from India. there wear their traditional clothing.

1.) Language - the more you hang on to your native language the more it will interfere with mastering the language you need to succeed in your new home. Even if you only speak your native tongue at home, it will cause you to maintain an accent that marks you as a foreigner to anyone you speak with.
2.) Social mores - people tend to judge others from there own moral view point. An example of this would be someone from a conservative country (Iran, Afganistan, etc.) would consider a woman in Miami wearing a bikini to be a "whore" but imagine that woman in a bikini is a elementary schoolteacher who is on vacation with her husband.
3.) Social status - some other countries have distinct class systems. Someone who in their home country has a high rank might come to another country and expect the same. (an excellent example is the filthy rich couple in NY, that brought maids from their home country who were routinely beaten and abused until they escaped, the rich couple were from India where there is a well established class system)
